The object of the game is to come up with four five-letter English words (no regular plurals or regular past tense) that fit the colored constraints.
Tiles of the same color must be the same letter. Different colored tiles may not be the same letter. For example, if one orange is an F, all of the oranges must be F. The red and the orange tiles may not both be F.

The black tiles can be any letters that a colored tile is not. We can continue by filling the black tiles using all letters of the alphabet except for P, F, A, and I.

Although we are not allowed to use the letters that the colored tiles are (P, F, A and I), we can repeat black letters. So, we can finish up this puzzle by filling in an S, K, and L, even though they are already used by other black tiles.
